Out with the old, In with the new

Well, it has been 153 days since I last made a post and with such a big change happening in my life I thought it would only suit to make a post about it. As my family/close friends will know I have recently decided to leave my position with Aqua Intelligence in search of something new, exciting, a way of bettering myself and most of all to be closer to my little lady!

I have enjoyed working for such a small but very talented web development company, while the number of staff has increased the "home" feel to the place still remains today. But with the strict procedures and methods involved in working for such well known companies it has not enabled me to keep ahead of the game with new technologies, most things need to be IE6 compatible for example. It's not all bad though, I have really enjoyed working for them, the pool table helps of course! Not to mention the surrounding area is so beautiful, I have made sure to take a couple of pictures which I will add to the gallery when I finally get to building it... honestly I will someday :)

With that said, I begin work for Maximum Designs (www.maxd.co.uk) on Thursday 1st Dec 2011. I am very excited about the challenges ahead and the opportunity to help build and mould the company in a way that I feel it should, having my say on the day to day running of the place and the opportunity to do work on mobile platforms excites me!

I would just like to say a huge Kudos to the work collegues and dear friends at Aqua whom I will miss immensly. A special shout to Peter, Tom, Dave R and Paul. You guys have made my life within the company that much better and I wish you all the best for the future and all that milarky.
